Humber College is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Chief of Staff to the President. This pivotal role provides high-level support and counsel to the President and the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring the effective advancement of the institution’s mission and strategic priorities. Reporting directly to the President, the Chief of Staff will lead cross-functional initiatives, oversee operations within the Office of the President, and drive alignment across departments and campuses. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive coordination, institutional planning, and project management, while also playing a central role in government relations and public policy advocacy at all levels. A key responsibility will be coordinating among multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the President receives timely, accurate, and high-quality information, reports, and briefing materials. The Chief of Staff will establish and uphold standards of excellence for all materials prepared for the President, ensuring they reflect the professionalism and strategic priorities of the Office. This position demands exceptional judgment, discretion, strategic thinking, and organizational acumen to foster collaboration and ensure seamless execution of institutional goals.

As the ideal candidate, you bring significant experience leading initiatives in large, complex organizations. You combine a strategic mindset with operational acumen and have a proven record of advising senior executives with insight and diplomacy. You lead through influence, build strong and trusted relationships across internal and external communities, and handle sensitive matters with tact and efficiency. You have successfully managed cross-functional teams and delivered measurable results. A deep, personal commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is essential, as is the capacity to navigate sensitive issues with empathy and integrity.
