Established in 1916, SAIT in Calgary, Alberta, is a global leader in applied education offering upgrading, apprenticeship, certificate, diploma, applied degree and baccalaureate degree programs to its 11,000+ full time and 1,200+ part time students, 8,700+ apprentices and almost 35,000 corporate training and continuing education students.
SAIT students take instruction in over 100 career programs, 1,800+ continuing education courses and corporate training courses through eight academic schools — Business, Construction, Energy, Health and Public Safety, Hospitality and Tourism, Information and Communications Technologies, Manufacturing and Automation, and Transportation.
Hands-on learning in unique labs and classrooms, solution-focused research and enterprising collaborations with industry partners ensure SAIT students are career-ready when they graduate.

As the new Director of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, you are a dynamic individual who will strategically leverage existing programming, while curating and designing new content and delivery methods to meet the needs and expectations of 21st century learners.
As a senior leader, you bring experience (ideally) from various sectors — business, industry, academia, and have strong knowledge of product development, customer service and marketing.
Tâches et responsabilités
- Redesign, curate and develop a strategic and responsive continuing education and professional studies program for the institution that is student centric, industry relevant, and unique to SAIT.
- Lead and drive the overall coordination and integration of a re-imagined continuing education and professional studies program across the institution, including business alignment, content development and sourcing, instruction modality, service standards, feedback systems, and tools and technology.
- Provide dynamic leadership in a complex environment combined with the ability to coordinate, manage, leverage, and integrate the efforts of faculty, staff, contractors and partners.
An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree in a related field such as an MBA or an MEd will be seen as an advantage.
