The Director, Marketing is accountable to the Associate Vice President, Communications and Marketing for providing direction in implementing policies, guidelines, processes and practices that govern all aspects of marketing at Saskatchewan Polytechnic to manage the brand, both internally and externally. The Director, Marketing will support the development, implementation and maintenance of Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s strategic marketing plan and promote institutional strategies to achieve strategic goals. The Director must bring an entrepreneurial spirit, be a thought leader, contributing knowledge and tools to empower the senior management team and institutional leaders to achieve our vision of becoming the first choice polytechnic in Canada.
Tâches et responsabilités
Based in one of our campus cities, the Director supervises a team of marketing professionals in a variety of service roles. On a daily basis the Director, Marketing interacts with the President, Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Deans and Directors. The Communication and Marketing department includes approximately 17 staff. The Director, Marketing is an expert within the organization, thus should expect to travel to each of our campus cities on a regular basis, interact with faculty, staff and students and emulate the vision for Saskatchewan Polytechnic marketing.
Graduate degree in marketing preferred. Applicants should be experienced in leading a creative team; minimum seven years of experience in a marketing and client-focused position, including three years at the management level. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
