Keyano College’s School of Health & Human Services is currently seeking to fill several instructors roles.
The Nursing and Allied Health programs is seeking Nursing Instructors for full time permanent and term opportunities. The successful candidate(s) will be prepared to teach in the Practical Nurse, Health Care Aid, Primary Care Paramedic, Advanced Care Paramedic and/or Baccalaureate Nursing programs, in theory, lab and clinical settings. The minimum qualifications to instruct Nursing in the Baccalaureate Nursing program is Masters in Nursing (consideration to those who have significant progress towards their Masters in Nursing). Also required is clinical experience, current BLS for Health Care Provider and CRNA registration. The successful candidate will be required to design/revise/update courses, including consulting with the Chair, Program Coordinator, faculty, advisory committees, and potential employers and students. Engaging in program development, assisting with the program coordinators, and participating in committee work in support of the department, division, or College will also be required.
The Human Services program requires Childhood Studies Instructors for full time permanent and term opportunities. This successful candidate(s) will instruction of academic courses within the Childhood Studies Department (Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) and Educational Assistant (EA) programs), practicum supervision of students in community placements. The minimum requirements to instruct in the Childhood Studies program is a Masters, Early Childhood Education (or similar program) with demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate adult learning. This position may also require the successful candidate to work evening and weekend instructional hours.
