JOB OVERVIEW: DIVISIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER, INTERNATIONAL
We are seeking a Divisional Business Manager, International to join the KPU International team! This is a temporary contract approximately 1 year in length, starting in April 2025.
This role reports to the AVP, International. Reporting directly to this position are International Administrative Coordinator and other administrative staff as assigned.
The Divisional Business Manager, International is responsible for providing operational leadership, management, and oversight for the International division at KPU. This role ensures the efficient administration of operational processes and initiatives that support the international student experience, aligns divisional goals with organizational objectives, and oversees the coordination of resources to ensure the effective delivery of services. This position works closely with various internal key parties to optimize cross-functional collaboration, ensure alignment of goals, and maintain budgetary and financial accountability.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area. Master’s preferred.
Minimum of five years of administrative experience
Budget management experience
Experience recruiting, supervising and managing performance of staff.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to provide leadership and direction; analyze situations and develop effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively in English with a diverse group of people.
Skill in coordinating activities, evaluating data, and establishing priorities.
Flexibility to take on a wide variety of duties and willingness to adapt work schedule as required by the department.
Ability to plan and manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to think innovatively and creatively in planning and developing a fresh approach to existing activities.
Proven ability to work independently and establish own priorities.
Demonstration of cross-cultural competency/sensitivity
Additional language fluency that could be applicable to current and developing markets is an asset
Ability to travel between campuses is required.

*Salary Information
The above compensation range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for a position. Typically, initial salary placement is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum. This represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and approximately halfway of the salary range for a job with consideration given to internal equity.
