Institutional Analysis and Planning

Position Location: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

Full-Time Position Available

Duties: Reporting to the Director of Institutional Analysis and Academic Planning, the Senior Research Analyst provides leadership and support for data-informed decision making within the College by providing expertise in survey research, qualitative research, planning and project management, statistical analytics, and data storytelling and reporting. The incumbent will work with all levels of the College community including leaders and senior leadership, to help inform and guide college strategies, build capacity and capability for data informed decision-making, and develop effective and timely analytic solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Social Sciences; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

- Significant related experience as an analyst in occupations such as institutional researcher, business or policy analyst, market researcher, consultant

- Research Design experience with the ability to select appropriate methodologies, create a research plan and design research tools

- Experience managing surveys including survey design, survey management, sample management

- Experience writing formal reports including briefing notes, blog posts, research summaries, presentations

- Data analysis skills and knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS

- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to lead meetings, moderate discussions, give presentations

- Experience leading projects including developing work plans, project charters, leading and participating in project teams

- Excellent written communication skills

- Strong verbal communication skills

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to create dashboards / visualization using tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI

- Experience with labour market analysis

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada

- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends

- This position may be required to work overtime
