The\u00a0<em>Mamawi<\/em>\u00a0initiative aims to\u00a0transform entrepreneurship, business, and accounting education for Indigenous learners\u00a0in colleges and institutes across Canada. an asset<\/li>\n<li>Project Management Professional Designation (PMP) &#8211; an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Minimum of 5 years of experience in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning,\u00a0implementing\u00a0and administering programs and projects funded by government\u00a0agencies\u00a0other donors and funders\u00a0involving indigenous communities<\/li>\n<li>Working in partnership with indigenous communities, organizations, or students, and lived experience relevant to\u00a0the position and\/or strong indigenous community connection\u00a0required.<\/li>\n<li>Leading strategic initiatives and\u00a0facilitated\u00a0cross-sector collaboration by coordinating with diverse stakeholders\u2014including\u00a0indigenous\u00a0community partners, government agencies, funders, and internal teams\u2014to ensure successful project implementation, alignment with organizational goals, and inclusive decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Working collaboratively with\u00a0Indigenous communities,\u00a0organizations\u00a0and leadership, with a deep understanding of the cultural, social, and historical context that shape their priorities<\/li>\n<li>Navigating Indigenous governance structures and protocols, ensuring respectful and meaningful engagement<\/li>\n<li>Advanced\u00a0proficiency\u00a0in budget management and financial monitoring (prepare program and activity budgets, advance requests, and financial reports; monitor and analyze program and activity actuals and budgets, including variance analysis and projections)<\/li>\n<li>Developing outreach strategies that build trust and foster long-term relationships with Indigenous partners, including the use of culturally\u00a0appropriate communication\u00a0methods<\/li>\n<li>Leading the planning and delivery of events, workshops, webinars, and\/or consultations with diverse audiences<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing complex initiatives by effectively managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, and reporting obligations in alignment with donor requirements and organizational standards<\/li>\n<li>Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to assess program outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Developing\u00a0and overseeing\u00a0the preparation of comprehensive narrative and financial reports, ensuring accuracy, alignment with donor requirements, and\u00a0timely\u00a0submission to internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing briefing notes, reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Knowledge and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Indigenous and Western governance\/accountability systems<\/li>\n<li>Indigenous systems, protocols, governance, and partnership approaches<\/li>\n<li>Project management tools and methodologies (e.g., logic models, Gantt charts, PM frameworks)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, data analysis, using data for program management<\/li>\n<li>Performance measurement frameworks, logic models, and evaluation tools<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation principles and data collection methods<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies in program delivery<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate to advanced Excel to manage budgets and Monitoring and Evaluation data (able to use formulas and create pivot tables)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency\u00a0in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with CRM systems and data management practices<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and reporting to support program monitoring and decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with federal government structures, funding mechanisms, and reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with shared digital workspaces and collaboration tools (e.g.,\u00a0SharePoint, MS\u00a0Teams, Zoom)<\/li>\n<li>Results-based management<\/li>\n<li>Writing for social media targeted to different platforms<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of postsecondary system in Canada (an asset)<\/li>\n<li>English Essential (Ability to communicate in French and\/or an Indigenous language is an asset)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Compensation:<\/strong>\u202f$87,463 to $107,055\u202f(PS III) &#8211;
