The Associate Registrar (AR), Admissions, provides College leadership across multiple campuses in the planning, directing, and managing the Admissions portfolio. The incumbent facilitates applicant movement into the College by ensuring consistent, efficient, and effective set up of the admission processes and procedures, in accordance with approved admission requirements. The Associate Registrar, Admissions, oversees the overall operations of the Admissions functional unit including the set up of the Admissions software, Recruit. The incumbent ensures the compliance with College policies and applicable external regulations and works collaboratively with the Registrar, other Associate Registrars, Chairs, and departmental managers to coordinate and deliver effective Registrarial services.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Services or a related area. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Significant experience within the Enrolment Services and Registrar's Office, including knowledge of the student life cycle
  • Strong computer skills, including experience in developing technological solutions for work process improvement
  • Experience in leading and supervising teams with the ability to mentor, coach and develop others
  • Experience creating a positive, supportive, and engaging working environment through teamwork, collaboration, and opportunities for personal and professional development
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively make decisions concerning sensitive and complex matters, while maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience working with complex regulations, policies and procedures related to the student life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability for strategic planning, development and leading change initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Knowledge of Red River College's policies and procedures as relate to the Registrar's office
  • Knowledge of international credential assessments
  • Knowledge of IRCC regulations and policies pertaining to international visa students


  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
