Description

The Director, Quality Assurance and Learner Pathways has the  responsibility for providing direction to the Department to ensure alignment to the institution’s strategic and academic plans. Through the implementation of operational plans that align with the overall strategic and academic direction of the institution, the Director will establish clear priorities and allocate resources accordingly in order to achieve departmental objectives. The Director will work to provide oversight to departmental operational services, including budget development and management, policy and procedure development and implementation, human resource management, and relationship facilitation with internal and external stakeholders.

Education

  • Successful completion of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferably in a curriculum related field or adult education)
  • At least five years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in a post-secondary education environment
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience of program development, review, and RPL theory and practices
  • Significant experience in leading and managing people;
  • Significant experience with financial and physical resource management
  • Advanced research, analytic, and project management skills
  • A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered
