Salary range: $70,489 - $89,950 annually

Assiniboine is looking for a skilled Human Resource Advisor, who is ready to provide comprehensive HR support to the college.
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you are ready to establish great working relationships with our management team, staff within the college and the union. To do so, you will be a skilled HR professional with strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. You will be prepared to provide guidance on a comprehensive range of human resource services in the areas of labour relations, employee support and accommodations, job design and classification, staff training and development, policy interpretation and renewal and experience working with collective agreements.
You will be driven to meet the demands of this role and be able to respond to multi-faceted problem solving on a daily basis, while considering established legislation, the collective agreement, and college policies and procedures. You will be able to contribute to an evolving human resources department that is keen to apply best practices and be a leader in the HR industry.
Your relevant education in human resources or an equivalent combination or education and experience has prepared you for this role. Your ability to support employee relations, work with our union, resolve problems through respecting employment law, union contracts and college policy, all while having a stellar attitude will make you a great fit for our team and will prepare you to deliver results for the college.
