Additionally, fostering partnerships with employers, industry, and the community to drive future-focused growth is a key aspect of this role.

The President is also expected to prioritize financial stability, meaningfully advance truth and reconciliation, and champion equity, diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging.

Top 5 key Presidential priorities include:
1) Fostering unity and driving progress in alignment with the college's mission, vision, and values through the establishment and implementation of strategic priorities for the college, in collaboration with key collaborators.

The ideal candidate should possess a robust foundation in financial and business acumen, which will be integral to the successful management of our institution's resources. They should demonstrate expertise in actively driving fundraising initiatives and philanthropy, including the cultivation and stewardship from donors, to ensure the sustainability and growth of our programs. Additionally, their extensive lived and professional experience in leadership roles within sizable, intricate, or complex organizations will be a valuable asset in fulfilling the demands of this role.

Moreover, they should be a catalyst for innovation, consistently prioritizing ongoing improvement and excellence, and fostering trust through a leadership style rooted in collaboration and inclusivity. By bringing these qualities, along with their wealth of experience, to the position, the candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding our institution towards a prosperous and inclusive future.
