Medicine Hat College is seeking a full-time permanent Systems Analyst, Applications (Exchange Administrator) to join our Information Technology Services (ITS) department. This position is part of the Applications Support Team which is primarily responsible for the overall reliability and performance of MHC’s business, operational, and instructional applications.

Reporting to the Manager, Client and Application Support Services, the primary areas of responsibility for this position are in the implementation, support, and administration of MHC’s E-mail Systems. This role will work with O365, exchange in the cloud, and Microsoft Azure as well as on-prem systems.

Knowledge and Skills

  • 2 years of experience in a senior technical analytical position responsible for managing Exchange and Active Directory environments.
  • Practical and technical knowledge within an IT environment, including knowledge of current operating systems, hardware, software applications, installation and troubleshooting.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to provide technical information and solutions to clients.
  • Applicable Certifications in position related areas
  • Experience in Unit 4 Business World would be an asset

Duties and Responsibilities

Education

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
