Executive Management Associate Vice-President, Advancement

The Associate Vice President, Advancement will be responsible for formulating, strengthening and integrating our comprehensive institutional advancement and alumni programs with the strategic goal of increasing internal and external stakeholder engagement and fundraising outcomes. He or she will lead our planned gifting and capital campaigns, and direct donor relations and corporate partnerships for the institution. Developing and delivering an exceptional alumni relations program as the foundation for achievement of our advancement strategies will be critical to success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in business, public relations or marketing. A Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered as it applies to or enhances opportunities for the success of this role. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience as a senior-level fundraising and development professional, with 5 years’ experience as a senior manager in this field. Demonstrated success in fundraising and advancement initiatives, particularly with campaign planning and execution and major gift solicitation is a requirement for this position.
