Mohawk College is seeking an Associate Vice-President, Student Services to join the college’s executive group, to lead a dedicated and highly skilled team, and to work collaboratively with students, the Mohawk Students’ Association, college partners and government officials to further advance the college’s strategic priorities.

Passionate about postsecondary education, confident, trusted and collaborative, candidates for this position will be student-centered, able to successfully execute on plans, value the importance of excellence in education program and service delivery, and keen to contribute to the continued growth and success of Mohawk College.

As Associate Vice-President, Student Services you will report to the President and be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction to the planning, development, and delivery of a wide range of high quality, innovative, responsive and effective services and programs that enhance student success and provide an outstanding student experience. These include the Registrar’s office, enrolment, admissions and scheduling services, student success initiatives and research, student wellness, accessible learning services, counselling, indigenous student services, financial assistance, student rights, equity and inclusion and student life and athletics.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree, along with senior leadership experience from within a complex post-secondary education environment. You are strategic, entrepreneurial, collaborative and results-oriented, and have demonstrated the ability to work with diverse teams of professionals to enhance client service and satisfaction, as well as customer relationship management in your organization or institution at all levels. Confident, collaborative and a solid communicator, you thrive working within a complex, fast-paced environment that serves many different stakeholders – and are adept at building solid internal and external relationships, partnerships and alliances.
