REPORTING TO: Vice President of Academic and Research
|Excluded Level 4, $43.33 – 50.82/hour, depending on experience and qualifications as per excluded staff classifications.|
The Campus Administrator is responsible for the day to day management and operation of both the Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge campuses. In addition, this position will take on a liaison role and be the face of Northern Lights College in the community as well as leading a team and meeting budget expectations.
The technical requirements for this job would typically be acquired through a Graduate degree in Business Administration or related area of study, plus five years supervisory experience in a union environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have a record of being highly involved in their community and will be known as a community leader. They will be a motivated, organized individual with strong customer service, problem solving, interpersonal and quantitative skills, and a superior work ethic in a deadline-driven environment. They will have a genuine interest in Northern Lights College and its high potential for continued growth.
A proven track record of fostering cooperation with other agencies/businesses will be important. The ability to nurture, support and inspire an enthusiastic, capable team is critical. The incumbent will be a community-focused, committed individual who enjoys challenge and approaches opportunities with creativity through inclusion of the staff, students and the community. Travel to other communities within the College region maybe required on an ongoing basis.
