Assiniboine Community College is a highly regarded and integral part of the economic, cultural and social development of the western region and the province of Manitoba. Assiniboine aims to provide exceptional high-quality, high-engagement learning experiences to students in each of its programs.
The college is situated on a beautiful historic site located on the bank of the picturesque Assiniboine River Valley overlooking the city of Brandon Manitoba. The 130,000 square foot Len Evans Center of Trades & Technology complex boasts state-of-the-art facilities which opened in September 2010.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Academic, the Dean provides academic and operational leadership to an academic school. In an environment that fosters collaborative decision-making, the Dean is accountable for ensuring that the school provides high quality education and training programs to assist with the economic, cultural and social development of Manitoba within the context of a global marketplace.

You will be knowledgeable and connected to the needs of labour, business and industry, sector councils, affinity groups, and professional and certifying bodies. You will be known for strong interpersonal skills, organizational and teambuilding abilities, and your capacity to inspire and motivate others. You will have achieved success by employing a collaborative approach that fosters trust and promotes effective relationships.
The successful candidate will have several years of administrative and leadership experience in addition to exemplary post-secondary teaching or educational development experience in a post-secondary education environment. Ideally you will possess or be nearing completion of a Masters degree. Experience in program expansion and contract training initiatives will be an asset.
