Payments Co-ordinator (PAP 201800161)

Purchasing and Payment Services

Location: London

Employment Group: Support

Hours: 35 hours per week

Pay Details: $31.06 per hour

Closing Date: July 11, 2018


Note: This is a full-time position (35 hours per week).

Duties: Under the supervision of the Manager, the incumbent provides co-ordination of payments for the department and the College. In addition, provides general accounting support to the department by preparing all commodity tax returns ensuring accounting transactions are recorded properly, reconciling GL accounts, reviewing T4A preparation, sampling and auditing invoices, reconciling purchasing card statements, providing management reports, assisting in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger system and sub-ledgers, preparing year-end schedules, and acting as an accounting resource to other members of the department and College.


  • Post-secondary 2 year diploma in Accounting or Financial Studies
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in accounting or purchasing department in a computerized, multi-faceted organization using computerized software, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Active enrolment in CPA program
  • Experience in managing and coordinating projects involving multiple departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
