Management Regional Manager, International Recruitment

As a key member of the International Education Team, the Regional Manager – International Recruitment is responsible for achieving strategic objectives, with a particular emphasis on international student recruitment and business development in identified international geographic areas. The incumbent will be the primary contact for international activity in certain sectors and will conduct recruitment activity and business development. Responsibilities include seeking and securing new opportunities, working with Academic managers, efficient and effective design, operation and delivery of services, recruitment of students for individual programs and group projects; assisting with staffing of projects; establishing new business contacts; and maintaining existing connections with external agencies, embassies, travel and tourism industries and other companies or agents.
A three-year Community College Diploma or University Degree with a focus on marketing and business studies or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Three years of experience in international student recruiting, international credential assessment & admissions, sales and marketing, travel and tourism, project management, lobbying and proposal writing, financial reporting, and budget forecasting and management. Proven experience in both functional and direct staff supervision including international student recruitment, performance management/motivation, professional development and team building. Excellent English communications skills (written/verbal). Fluency in other languages is highly desirable. Highly developed interpersonal/public relations skills, cross-cultural communication skills, effective negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of working in a self-directed manner. In depth understanding of the specific needs of international students, including Canadian immigration requirements, lifestyle adjustment and health-related issues.

SALARY & TERMS: Salary range of $71,963.- $89,953 / annum. Starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
